Housed in a building in the fascinating medieval quarter, the Gasparri private collection offers
a chance to see a range of artefacts from the town, its necropolis and its sea. It recounts
local history through prestigious objects such as imported Corinthian and Attic pottery, personal
ornaments, bronze and lead containers, painted and black-varnished ceramics, memorial stones,
sarcophagi, amphorae and anchors.
