The tradition of hospitality is so deeply rooted in the Costa degli Etruschi - where as far back as the 1700's,
the writer Carlo Goldoni set his "summer holidays" and Europe's first bathing establishments were opened at the
end of the nineteenth century - that an exceptional range of accommodation has grown up to satisfy every kind of need.
As well as hotels, there are numerous modern, well-equipped camp sites and holiday villages, holiday houses and flats.
More than 100 farms and smallholdings in the countryside, close to the sea offer holidays close to nature,
outdoor sports and the chance to taste local produce, and have been awarded the Regione Toscana's "wheat ears" for their quality.
Establishments are listed in the Region's updated tourism database.
