A favourite place for outdoor activities, for many years the Collesalvetti area has been home to national events involving
country pursuits and open-air sports such as fishing, canoeing, hunting, archery and skeet shooting.
These rural fairs, the biggest of which is the Game Fair Italia, feature livestock shows, horse shows and falconry
demonstrations.
In this typically Tuscan country setting, with its riding centres and stables, and livestock farms, the opportunities
for relaxation and fun in touch with nature are endless.
Excursions on foot, by bike or on horseback can be taken along hiking trails that wind around lakes and across the
countryside and hills of the Park. Special visits to and stays at local tourist attractions and nearby places of interest are organised.
