Historical pageants, medieval feasts, concerts and theatrical productions in the Teatro dei Concordi, fests and
gastronomic events – art, culture and folklore make up a rich programme of big and small events held throughout the year.
Historical Day takes place during May, and the whole town comes alive with scenes of everyday life, characters in
costume, old forgotten trades and ancient crafts.
A great festival - originally the "Calendimaggio" held to celebrate the arrival of spring – complete with
historical pageant, musical concerts, jugglers and acrobats, archery competitions and a horse race.
The medieval feast is held in August in the oldest quarter of Campiglia, and offers original, olden-day dishes in an enchanting setting.
